Chemistry Night 6.3.2025
The Chemistry Night will take over Heureka on Thursday 6th of March from 3pm to 10pm. At this family event, you can dive into different phenomena of chemistry through fun workshops.
Event is arranged in collaboration with Finnish Chemical Society and Finnish Forest Product Engineers' Association.
Event ticket (3pm to 10pm) online and purchased on the spot €10. Children under 5 years old can enter Heureka free of charge when accompanied by a carer. Museum card, Heureka Club cards, cultural passes and free tickets are also accepted.

Movie clip on the Event Square Stage – science and cinema!
During the evening, we will screen twice a scene from Warner Bros' Batman and Robin (1997) movie on the Event Square Stage. But how realistic is everything? After the screening, we will dive into the scientific facts of the film from a chemistry perspective. Join us to discuss and be surprised!
At 7.15 pm and 9 pm
Science Theater Performances
The Tarkkana! performance challenges the audience to guess whether the performer's incredible claims can be true.
There will be two science theater performances which are held at the Heureka event square.
At 5 pm and 8.15 pm

Money laundering
In the Money Laundering workshop, you can try out what different acids and bases do to a stained coin.
The workshop is held in the Alfa Beta meeting rooms.

Cone workshop
Come and make cone art at the cone workshop! You can take your finished artwork home with you.

Pipetting workshop
How do different substances react with each other? Come and do chemical experiments with brightly colored substances in the pipetting workshop!

What is the worst possible disaster that can happen in a laboratory? What things should be taken into account to ensure safe laboratory work.

Come and play with colors at the Tikkurila colors workshop and make your own color!
You must register for the workshop at the event. Duration 30min. To be held in the Gamma meeting room.
