Winter 2025 Science Camps
The winter holiday week 8 science camps and space camps are organized in Heureka as two-day camps. The camps are in Finnish. The tickets are sold from 9.12.2024 10 am to 7.2.2025 3 pm.
All winter holiday camp programs are new.
The space camp group is aimed at children in the grades 4–6. The science camp groups are for grades 1.-6.
Attention! In connection with the purchase, the information of the camper or campers must be filled in the forms before payment. So please collect all the necessary information before the time of purchase!
Our online store accepts online bank payments, bank and credit cards, as well as invoicing and installment services.

What happens at science camps?
- At science camps and space camps, in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary programs, you get to experiment and research yourself. Campers are divided into groups of 20 children, each guided by an inspiring pedagogue.
- Week 8 science camps are aimed at elementary school students born in 2012–2017.
- Those born between 2012 and 2014 can als participate in the space camp. The programs for space campers are mostly different from those at a regular science camp.
- The camp program is the same for Mon–Tue and Thur–Fri camps.
- The camp programs are new.
- Science camps and space camps are in Finnish.
- Science campers get to work versatilely in Heureka's different facilities, such as laboratories and workshops.
- Campers are offered a warm meal in the Science Restaurant.
- The camp program is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Heureka is open from 9 am to 6 pm during week 8.
- During the camp, science campers have the right to be in Heureka's exhibitions until closing time. In addition, you can spend time independently at the exhibitions in the mornings on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 10 am. On Monday and Thursday, the camp starts at 9:30 a.m. with registration.
- A camp letter with more detailed information is sent by e-mail to those who bought a ticket before the camp.
When are the camps held?
The winter holiday week 8 camps are organized:
Science camp Mon-Tue 17.–18.2. (born between 2012 and 2017)
Science camp Thu-Fri 20.–21.2. (born between 2012 and 2017)
Space camp Mon-Tue 17.–18.2. (born between 2012 and 2014)
Space camp Thu-Fri 20.–21.2. (born between 2012 and 2014)
How much are the tickets?
Sale: Tickets go on sale on Monday 9.12.2024 at 10 am.
Price: €90/camp
You can buy more than one science camp ticket at a time (max 4).
Attention! Forms must be filled out for all campers at the time of purchase. / Please note! When you purchase the tickets, it is mandatory to fill in the information of each child you buy the tickets for. Please collect all the info of the child and child's Guardian before buying the tickets (such as contact details and allergies etc.). The camp program is in Finnish.
For the forms you need e.g. the following information:
• The child's allergies (including information on whether products that may contain allergenic substances are suitable)
• Guardians' phone numbers and home and email addresses, as well as any special needs of the children, such as social situations or behavioral challenges.
The information helps us make arrangements well in advance so that we can offer all campers a good experience.
Campers are divided into groups according to age, but siblings and friends of different ages meet during breaks. If you would like children of almost the same age, but born in different years, in the same group, or a certain friend in the same group, please mention this in the registration form.
Frequently asked Questions
How do I cancel my purchase?
Cancel the camp no later than 7 days before the start of the camp to the address: asiakaspalvellu@heureka.fi .
After this, cancellation and refunds can only be made against a medical certificate.
You can inquire about possible exchanges at the address: asiakaspalvelu@heureka.fi .
I didn't have time to buy a ticket, will there be more for sale?
Possible cancellation seats will appear for sale in the ticket office. If you didn't manage to get your own seat, you should keep an eye on the ticket office!
