Moon Tour
In this Science on a Sphere-show, we get to know the Earth's own Moon: what is it like and how did it come to be? In addition to our own Moon, we explore some of the other moons of our Solar System. Expect volcanoes, ice, seas, massive collisions, extreme temperatures – and even life?
Please note that this is a show guided by a Heureka-inspirer and not a planetarium film.
Science on a Sphere is a projection equipment system developed by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Information mainly collected by satellites about the oceans, climate, Earth's crust, and space is projected onto the surface of a two-meter diameter sphere. Some of the material is updated daily.
