The Idea Workshop
At the Idea workshop you can e.g. design and build your own mountain car. There are materials and tools available to work on different and original solutions.
In the challenges of the Idea workshop, you can aim for style, speed or, for example, slowness. Desired solutions are developed by ideating, experimenting, testing and improving. Success is often preceded by many failures.

Finland's most curious class
The most curious classes in Finland were found in the Heureka competition. The primary school category was won by the 6G class of Mäkirinne school from Haapavesi, and the secondary school category was won by the 9B class of Juhannuskylä school from Tampere.

The Planetarium is closed
We will open a fully renovated and state-of-the-art Planetarium in late 2025.

Thursday evening ticket for 10 €
Note! The discount does not apply to Thursday evenings 20.2., 27.2., 17.4., 1.5., 29.5., 19.6., summer season 23.6.–10.8., 16.10. and 25.12. On Thursdays from 15:00–20:00, all entrance tickets are 10 €/each. Children under 5 years of age can enter Heureka free of charge accompanied by a guardian.
